Orion Historical Society's funds:
The Historic Union Church Fund is used to accumulate contributions specifically designated for expenditures to be made with respect to the renovation of the Historic Union Church.
The Building Fund will be used to build OHS infrastructure, i.e. museums, protecting threatened historic buildings, and the accumulation of smaller objects that are of significance to Orion's past.
The General Fund is the administrative/operating fund of the Orion Historical Society and is maintained under the purview of the Board of Directors.
The Historic Districts Fund is used to accumulate contributions specifically designated for Historic Districts and pay for expenses incurred in developing historic districts within Orion. Once these districts are established, Orion will enjoy historic designation on the National Register in Washington, D.C.
The Prospect School Fund continues the work required to restore an Orion one-room schoolhouse that was formerly located on Newman Road.
